Harmony Music Center has been hosting the Musician Idol Competition for the young performers from across Bahrain since 2014. In 2020 the Musician Idol Competition became international. The circle of participating countries was widened and contestants from the Gulf countries UAE, Kuwait, Qatar & Oman have joined the and was renamed to the Gulf Musician Idol Competition.
The students of all ages and different performance levels can join the Competition.
The overall aim of Gulf Musician Idol Competition is to motivate young musicians to practice, set the targets for learning and enhance the skills for achievements, provide them with the opportunity to perform and share their musical achievement and creativity; unite the music educators across the Gulf countries and exchange the experience.
